Compelling personal stories were told from Ada Cheng’s students Anna Hu, Jeannie Hua, Jacob Mueller, Mia Park, Justin Valas and her “Dare To Connect!” online storytelling class produced by AAAC. This was an in-person event at Restoried Bookshop, 4613 N Kedzie Ave, Chicago, IL. Restoried Bookshop is an independent, family-owned, Asian American-owned bookstore.

AAAC presents musician Steven Cristi. World Dumpling Fest celebrates diverse cultures throughout Chicago and the world with music, dance, and of course, dumplings! The Chicago Cultural Alliance is excited to host their fourth World Dumpling Fest. This all-ages event features food, music, and local small businesses sharing their cultural identities through their respective crafts. World Dumpling Fest features diverse cultural “dumplings” from 15+ neighborhood-based restaurants in and around Chicago. AAAC will have a table – see you there!
Not Alone Anymore: Asian American Solo Show Festival

AAAC and CIRCA-Pintig co-produce the Not Alone Anymore: Asian American Solo Show Festival, the first of its kind in Chicago, on Saturday, October 17 and Sunday, October 18, 2026 at the Rizal Center. Four AAPI solo performers — Lauren Kee, Lani Montreal, Huy Nguyen, and RJ Silva — will each present their own theatrical work across two afternoons and evenings. The weekend also includes a public workshop, How to Make a Solo Show, taught by the festival artists, and a closing party with dinner, mocktails, and a chance to meet the performers.
