AAPI Affinity Night
AAAC Artistic Director Mia Park and other AAPI community leaders spoke on a night specially dedicated to and celebrating AAPINH audience members after the world premiere of the play, “GORGEOUS” by Keiko Green, produced by Rivendell Theatre at Raven Theatre.

Cultural Conversation

AAAC partnered with the Thai Theatre Foundation in presenting the solo show "Lanna Dream" by Waewdao Sirisook as part of the Theatre Communications Group national conference.

Rock band Ki at the World Dumpling Fest
⅔ of Chicago’s first Asian American female rock group, Kim, played this fun outdoor festival under the moniker “Ki”.

Sama Sama Project at the Great Filipino Songbook
AAAC collaborated with Sama Sama Project to celebrate Filipino culture in Chicago.

Play Development and Reading
The play “Tomato Tattoo” by Rammel Chan was selected to be developed and performed as a staged reading in the New Play Reading Series produced by City of Chicago DCASE.
