SPRY Community School on Chicago’s southside integrates bilingual education with Fine and Performing Arts. AAAC teaching artists brought arts programming that was universal for English and non-English speaking students.

Dancer and educator Wannapa Pimtong-Eubanks taught movement and expressive dance.
Crankie Storytelling with Myra Su
Puppeteer and educator Myra Su introduced the art of the crankie, a traditional form of storytelling that uses a scroll of illustrated scenes, hand-cranked inside a box, to bring narratives to life.
